    PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    With the progress of science and technology, more and more power electronic devices and other non-linear loads are applied in companies, such as rectifiers, inverters, UPS, elevators, air conditioners, energy-saving lights, computers, household appliances, etc. These nonlinear loads generate a large amount of harmonic currents that are being injected into the power grid, leading to the voltage waveform distortion. This voltage harmonic pollution can cause serious harm to the grid and all back-end users. In addition, impacting and fluctuating loads, e.g., arc furnace welding equipment, not only generates a large amount of high harmonics in operation, but also causes voltage fluctuations, flickers and three-phase imbalance and other power quality problems, threatening the safe operation of the grid. Harmonics is virtually a kind of interference that “pollutes” the power grid.

    KLD-AMS series active power filters are connected in parallel with the harmonic source. It quickly generates currents that are equal in size and opposite in direction to offset the harmonic currents produced by the harmonic source loads through real-time detection and tracking, thus eliminating harmonics and avoiding distortion of system voltage and current waveforms. The equippment has an adaptive function to compensate for harmonics of varying frequency and size, and quickly responds to the compensation object.

    REAL-TIME DYNAMIC FILTERING RESPONSE

    KLD-AMS series active filters can automatically track the system and control the harmonics according to the actual situation, and can filter out the 2nd to 71st harmonics.

    When the active filter is in normal operation, it can filter the harmonics in the whole range at the same time, and also selectively filter harmonics of various orders, and adjust the filtering rate of random harmonic based on the requirements.

    LAYERED INDEPENDENT AIR DUCT DESIGN

    The module is designed in layered structure and equipped with a dedicated independent cooling system.

    Internal layered design ensures that different functional areas are separated from each other, which is suitable for harsh environments, such as areas filled with dust and conductive particles, saline and alkaline, and humind environment. Each module is equipped with an independent heat dissipation structure, which can quickly transfer and dissipate heat to reduce the operating temperature of the equipment. The noise level of the whole machine is less than or equal to 60dB.

    FAST FOURIER ALGORITHM

    Derived from our experience in harmonic control in various industries, we continuously optimize the fast control algorithm based on FFT.

    DSP decomposes the collected system waveforms through row calculation and identifies the characteristics of the harmonic components that need to be controlled. According to the set parameters and control requirements, it calculates the output current and generates the corresponding pulse width modulation signals to control the inverter IGBT switching devices, so that the main circuit can produce the waveforms as required and achieve the maximum control effect with minimum power consumption.
